54పేతురు ప్రధానయాజకుని యింటిముంగిటివరకు దూరమునుండి ఆయన వెంటపోయి బంట్రౌతులతోకూడ కూర్చుండి, మంటయొద్ద చలి కాచు కొనుచుండెను.
55ప్రధానయాజకులును మహాసభవారందరును యేసును చంపింపవలెనని ఆయనమీద సాక్ష్యము వెదకిరిగాని, యేమియు వారికి దొరకలేదు.

57అప్పుడు కొందరు లేచి చేతిపనియైన ఈ దేవాలయమును పడగొట్టి, మూడు దిన ములలో చేతిపనికాని మరియొక దేవాలయమును నేను కట్టుదునని వీడు చెప్పుచుండగా వింటిమని
