ఆయన ఆ జనసమూహములను పంపివేసి, ప్రార్థనచేయుటకు ఏకాంతముగా కొండయెక్కి పోయి, సాయంకాలమైనప్పుడు ఒంటరిగా ఉండెను.

22వెంటనే ఆ జనసమూహములను తాను పంపివేయునంతలో తన శిష్యులు దోనె యెక్కి తనకంటె ముందుగా అద్దరికి వెళ్లవలెనని ఆయన వారిని బలవంతము చేసెను.

25రాత్రి నాలుగవ జామున ఆయన సముద్రముమీద నడుచుచు వారియొద్దకు వచ్చెను
