11యేసు అధిపతియెదుట నిలిచెను; అప్పుడు అధిపతియూదుల రాజవు నీవేనా? అని ఆయన నడుగగా యేసు అతని చూచినీవన్నట్టే అనెను
12ప్రధానయాజకులును పెద్దలును ఆయనమీద నేరము మోపినప్పుడు ఆయన ప్రత్యుత్తరమేమియు ఇయ్యలేదు.
13కాబట్టి పిలాతు నీమీద వీరెన్ని నేరములు మోపుచున్నారో నీవు వినలేదా? అని ఆయనను అడిగెను.
14అయితే ఆయన ఒక మాటకైనను అతనికి ఉత్తరమియ్యలేదు గనుక అధిపతి మిక్కిలి ఆశ్చర్యపడెను.
15జనులు కోరుకొనిన యొక ఖయిదీని పండుగలో విడుదల చేయుట అధిపతికి వాడుక.
