అయితే నేను ఎచ్చటికి వెళ్లినది యేమి చేసినది అధికారులకు తెలియలేదు. యూదులకే గాని యాజకులకే గాని యజమానులకే గాని అధికారులకే గాని పనిచేయు ఇతరమైనవారికే గాని నేను ఆ సంగతి చెప్పి యుండలేదు.

King James Version (KJV): And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told [it] to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.

15నేను రాత్రి యందు మడుగు దగ్గరనుండి పోయి ప్రాకారమును చూచినమీదట వెనుకకు మరలి లోయ గుమ్మములో బడి తిరిగి వచ్చితిని.

17అయితే వారితో నేనిట్లంటినిమనకు కలిగిన శ్రమ మీకు తెలిసియున్నది, యెరూషలేము ఎట్లు పాడైపోయెనో దాని గుమ్మములు అగ్నిచేత ఎట్లు కాల్చబడెనో మీరు చూచియున్నారు, మనకు ఇకమీదట నింద రాకుండ యెరూషలేముయొక్క ప్రాకారమును మరల కట్టుదము రండి.
18ఇదియుగాక నాకు సహాయము చేయు దేవుని కరుణాహస్తమును గూర్చియు, రాజు నాకు సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలన్నియు నేను వారితో చెప్పితిని. అందుకు వారు - మనము కట్టుటకు పూనుకొందము రండని చెప్పి యీ మంచికార్యము చేయుటకై బలము తెచ్చుకొనిరి.
