ఇచ్ఛ యింపనిది నేను చేసినయెడల ధర్మశాస్త్రము శ్రేష్ఠమైనదైనట్టు ఒప్పుకొనుచున్నాను.

King James Version (KJV): If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that [it is] good.
World English Bible (WEB): But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.

14ధర్మశాస్త్రము ఆత్మ సంబంధమైనదని యెరుగుదుము; అయితే నేను పాపమునకు అమ్మబడి శరీరసంబంధినై యున్నాను.
15ఏలయనగా నేను చేయునది నేనెరుగను; నేను చేయ నిచ్ఛయించునది చేయక ద్వేషించునదియే చేయుచున్నాను.
16ఇచ్ఛ యింపనిది నేను చేసినయెడల ధర్మశాస్త్రము శ్రేష్ఠమైనదైనట్టు ఒప్పుకొనుచున్నాను.
17కావున ఇకను దాని చేయునది నాయందు నివసించు పాపమే గాని నేను కాదు.
18నాయందు, అనగా నా శరీరమందు మంచిది ఏదియు నివసింపదని నేనెరుగుదును. మేలైనది చేయవలెనను కోరిక నాకు కలుగుచున్నది గాని, దానిని చేయుట నాకు కలుగుటలేదు.
