వీరేమి చేయబోవుచున్నారని నేనడిగి నందుకు ఆయన ఎవడును తలయెత్తకుండ యూదావారిని చెదరగొట్టిన కొమ్ములు ఇవే. అయితే వాటిని భయపెట్టుటకును, యూదాదేశస్థులనందరిని చెదరగొట్టుటకై వారిమీద బలాత్కారము జరిగించిన అన్యజనుల కొమ్ము లను పడగొట్టుటకును వీరు వచ్చియున్నారని నాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

Veeremi cheyabovuchunnaarani nenadigi nanduku aayana evadunu talayettakunda yoodaavaarini chedaragottina kommulu ive. Ayite vaatini bhayapettutakunu, yoodaadeshasthulanandarini chedaragottutakai vaarimeeda balaatkaaramu jariginchina anyajanula kommu lanu padagottutakunu veeru vachchiyunnaarani naaku selavichchenu.

Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up [their] horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

Then I asked, “What are these coming to do?” He said, “These are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
