14मैं तुम्हें लज्जित करते के लिये ये बातें नहीं लिखता, परन्तु अपने प्रिय बालक जानकर उन्हें चितात हूं।
15क्योंकि यदि मसीह में तुम्हारे सिखानेवाले दस हजार भी होते, तौभी तुम्हारे पिता बहुत से नहीं, इसलिये कि मसीह यीशु में सुसमाचार के द्वारा मैं तुम्हारा पिता हुआ।
16सो मैं तुम से बिनती करता हूं, कि मेरी सी चाल चलो।
17इसलिये मैं ने तीमुथियुस को जो प्रभु में मेरा प्रिय और विश्वासयोग्य पुत्रा है, तुम्हारे पास भेजा है, और वह तुम्हें मसीह में मेरा चरित्रा स्मरण कराएगा, जैसे कि मैं हर जगह हर एक कलीसिया में उपदेश करता हूं।
