परन्तु योनातान ने अपने पिता को लोगों को शपथ धराते न सुना था, इसलिये उस ने अपने हाथ की छड़ी की नोक बढ़ाकर मधु के छत्ते में डुबाया, और अपना हाथों अपने मुंह तक लगाया; तब उसकी आंखों में ज्योति आई।

Parantu yonaataan ne apane pitaa ko logom ko shapath dharaate na sunaa thaa, isaliye us ne apane haath kee chhadee kee nok badhaakar madhu ke chhatte mem dubaayaa, aur apanaa haathom apane munh tak lagaayaa; tab usakee aankhom mem jyoti aaee.

King James Version (KJV): But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that [was] in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
World English Bible (WEB): But Jonathan didn’t hear when his father commanded the people with the oath. Therefore he put out the end of the rod that was in his hand and dipped it in the honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes brightened.

29योनातान ने कहा, मेरे पिता ने लोगों को कष्ट दिया है; देखो, मैं ने इस मधु को थोड़ा सा चखा, और मुझे आंखों से कैसा सूझने लगा।
