20और दाऊद बिहान को सबेरे उठ, भेड़ बकरियों को किसी रखवाले के हाथ में छोड़कर, उन वस्तुओं को लेकर चला; और जब सेना रणभूमि को जा रही, और संग्राम के लिये ललकार रही थी, उसी समय वह गाड़ियों के पड़ाव पर पहुंचा।
21तब इस्राएलियों और पलिश्तियों ने अपनी अपनी सेना आम्हने साम्हने करके पांति बांन्धी।
