तब गायों ने बेतशमेश को सीधा मार्ग लिया; वे सड़क ही सड़क बम्बाती हुई चली गई, और न दहिने मुड़ी और न बायें; और पलिश्तियों के सरदार उनके पीछे पीछे बेतशेमेश के सिवाने तक गए।

Tab gaayom ne betashamesh ko seedhaa maarg liyaa; ve sadak hee sadak bambaatee huee chalee gaee, aur na dahine mudee aur na baayem; aur palishtiyom ke saradaar unake peechhe peechhe betashemesh ke sivaane tak gae.

King James Version (KJV): And the kine took the straight way to the way of Beth-shemesh, [and] went along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside [to] the right hand or [to] the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them unto the border of Beth-shemesh.
World English Bible (WEB): The cows took the straight way by the way to Beth Shemesh. They went along the highway, lowing as they went, and didn’t turn away to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them to the border of Beth Shemesh.

13और बेतशेमेश के लोग तराई में गेहूं काट रहे थे; और जब उन्हों ने आंखें उठाकर सन्दूक को देखा, तब उसके देखने से आनन्दित हुए।
14और गाड़ी यहोशू नाम एक बेतशेमेशी के खेत में जाकर वहां ठहर गई, जहां एक बड़ा पत्थर था। तब उन्हों ने गाड़ी की लकड़ी को चीरा और गायों को होमबलि करके यहोवा के लिये चढ़ाया।
