उन्हों ने उस से कहा, कि एक मनुष्य हम से मिलने को आया, और कहा, कि जिस राजा ने तुम को भेजा उसके पास लौटकर कहो, यहोवा यों कहता है, कि क्या इस्राएल में कोई परमेश्वर नहीं जो तू एक्रोन के बालजबूब देवता से पूछने को भेजता है? इस कारण जिस पलंग पर तू पड़ा है, उस पर से कभी न उठेगा, परन्तु मर ही जाएगा।

Unhom ne us se kahaa, ki ek manushy ham se milane ko aayaa, aur kahaa, ki jis raajaa ne tum ko bhejaa usake paas lautakar kaho, yahovaa yom kahataa hai, ki kyaa israael mem koee parameshvar naheem jo too ekron ke baalajaboob devataa se poochhane ko bhejataa hai? Is kaaran jis palang par too padaa hai, us par se kabhee na uthegaa, parantu mar hee jaaegaa.

King James Version (KJV): And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] thou sendest to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
World English Bible (WEB): They said to him, “A man came up to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go, return to the king who sent you, and tell him, “The LORD says, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but you will surely die.’”’”

8उन्हों ने उसको उत्तर दिया, वह तो रोंआर मनुष्य था और अपनी कमर में चमड़े का फेंटा बान्धे हुए था। उस ने कहा, वह तिशबी एलिरयाह होगा।
