तब बक सवार उस से मिलने को गया, और उस से कहा, राजा पूछता है, क्या कुशल है? येहू ने कहा, कुशल से तेरा क्या काम? हटकर मेरे पीछे चल। तब पहरूए ने कहा, वह दूत उनके पास पहुंचा तो था, परन्तु लौटकर नहीं आया।

Tab bak savaar us se milane ko gayaa, aur us se kahaa, raajaa poochhataa hai, kyaa kushal hai? Yehoo ne kahaa, kushal se teraa kyaa kaam? Hatakar mere peechhe chal. Tab paharooe ne kahaa, vah doot unake paas pahunchaa to thaa, parantu lautakar naheem aayaa.

King James Version (KJV): So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
World English Bible (WEB): So one went on horseback to meet him, and said, “the king says, ‘Is it peace?’” Jehu said, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me!” The watchman said, “The messenger came to them, but he isn’t coming back.”

20तब पहरूए ने कहा, वह भी उनके पास पहुंचा तो था, परन्तु लौटकर नहीं आया। हांकना निमशी के पोते येहू का सा है; वह तो बौड़हे की नाई हांकता है।
