और वहां अक्विला नाम एक यहूदी मिला, जिस का जन्म पुन्तुस का था; और अपनी पत्नी प्रिस्किल्ला समेत इतालिया से नया आया था, क्योंकि क्लौदियुस ने सब यहूदियों को रोम से निकल जाने की आज्ञा दी थी, सो वह उन के यहां गया।

Aur vahaam akvilaa naam ek yahoodee milaa, jis kaa janm puntus kaa thaa; aur apanee patnee priskillaa samet itaaliyaa se nayaa aayaa thaa, kyonki klaudiyus ne sab yahoodiyom ko rom se nikal jaane kee aajnyaa dee thee, so vah un ke yahaam gayaa.

King James Version (KJV): And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
