वह भट्ठा तो राजा की दृढ़ आज्ञा होने के कारण अत्यन्त धधकाया गया था, इस कारण जिन पुरूषों ने शद्रक, मेशक और अबेदनगो को उठाया वे ही आग की आंच से जल मरे।
Vah bhatthaa to raajaa kee drudh aajnyaa hone ke kaaran atyant dhadhakaayaa gayaa thaa, is kaaran jin purooshom ne shadrak, meshak aur abedanago ko uthaayaa ve hee aag kee aanch se jal mare.

- 24तब नबूकदनेस्सरे राजा अचम्भित हुआ और घबराकर उठ खड़ा हुआ। और अपने मन्त्रियों से पूछने लगा, क्या हम ने उस आग के बीच तीन ही पुरूष बन्धे हुए नहीं डलवाए? उन्हों ने राजा को उत्तर दिया, हां राजा, सच बात तो है।
