तो वे दोनों मनुष्य, जिनके बीच ऐसा मुकद्दमा उठा हो, यहोवा के सम्मुख, अर्थात उन दिनों के याजकों और न्यायियों के साम्हने खड़े किए जाएं;
To ve donom manushy, jinake beech aisaa mukaddamaa uthaa ho, yahovaa ke sammukh, arthaat un dinom ke yaajakom aur nyaayiyom ke saamhane khade kie jaaem;

- 15किसी मनुष्य के विरुद्ध किसी प्रकार के अधर्म वा पाप के विषय में, चाहे उसका पाप कैसा ही क्यों न हो, एक ही जन की साक्षी न सुनना, परन्तु दो वा तीन साक्षीयों के कहने से बात पक्की ठहरे।
- 16यदि कोई झूठी साक्षी देने वाला किसी के विरुद्ध यहोवा से फिर जाने की साक्षी देने को खड़ा हो,
- 17तो वे दोनों मनुष्य, जिनके बीच ऐसा मुकद्दमा उठा हो, यहोवा के सम्मुख, अर्थात उन दिनों के याजकों और न्यायियों के साम्हने खड़े किए जाएं;
- 18तब न्यायी भली भांति पूछपाछ करें, और यदि यह निर्णय पाए कि वह झूठा साक्षी है, और अपने भाई के विरुद्ध झूठी साक्षी दी है
- 19तो अपने भाई की जैसी भी हानि करवाने की युक्ति उसने की हो वैसी ही तुम भी उसकी करना; इसी रीति से अपने बीच में से ऐसी बुराई को दूर करना।
