यदि उसका स्वामी संग हो, तो दूसरे को उसकी हानि भरना न पड़े; और यदि वह भाड़े का हो तो उसकी हानि उसके भाड़े में आ गई।।

Yadi usakaa svaamee sang ho, to doosare ko usakee haani bharanaa na pade; aur yadi vah bhaade kaa ho to usakee haani usake bhaade mem aa gaee..

Exodus 22:15 in English

King James Version (KJV): [But] if the owner thereof [be] with it, he shall not make [it] good: if it [be] an hired [thing], it came for his hire.
World English Bible (WEB): If its owner is with it, he shall not make it good. If it is a leased thing, it came for its lease.

13और यदि वह फाड़ डाला गया हो, तो वह फाड़े हुए को प्रमाण के लिये ले आए, तब उसे उसको भी भर देना न पड़ेगा।।
14फिर यदि कोई दूसरे से पशु मांग लाए, और उसके स्वामी के संग न रहते उसको चोट लगे वा वह मर जाए, तो वह निश्चय उसकी हानि भर दे।
15यदि उसका स्वामी संग हो, तो दूसरे को उसकी हानि भरना न पड़े; और यदि वह भाड़े का हो तो उसकी हानि उसके भाड़े में आ गई।।
16यदि कोई पुरूष किसी कन्या को जिसके ब्याह की बात न लगी हो फुसलाकर उसके संग कुकर्म करे, तो वह निश्चय उसका मोल देके उसे ब्याह ले।
17परन्तु यदि उसका पिता उसे देने को बिल्कुल इनकार करे, तो कुकर्म करनेवाला कन्याओं के मोल की रीति के अनुसार रूपये तौल दे।।
