अपनी माता की कोख ही में उस ने अपने भाई को अड़ंगा मारा, और बड़ा होकर वह परमेश्वर के साथ लड़ा।

Apanee maataa kee kokh hee mem us ne apane bhaaee ko adangaa maaraa, aur badaa hokar vah parameshvar ke saath ladaa.

1एप्रैम पानी पीटता और पुरवाइ्र का पीछा करता रहता है; वह लगातार झूठ और उत्पात को बढ़ाता रहता है; वे अश्शूर के साथ वाचा बान्धते और मि में तेल भेजते हैं।
2यहूदा के साथ भी यहोवा का मुक मा है, और वह याकूब को उसके चालचलन के अनुसार दण्ड देगा; उसके कामों के अनुसार वह उसको बदला देगा।
3अपनी माता की कोख ही में उस ने अपने भाई को अड़ंगा मारा, और बड़ा होकर वह परमेश्वर के साथ लड़ा।
4वह दूत से लड़ा, और जीत भी गया, वह रोया और उस ने गिड़गिड़ाकर बिनती की। बेतेल में वह उसको मिला, और वहीं उस ने हम से बातें की।
5यहोवा, सेनाओं का परमशॆवर, जिसका स्मरण यहोवा नाम से होता है।
