तब चेलों ने उस से कहा, हे प्रभु, यदि वह सो गया है, तो बच जाएगा।

Tab chelom ne us se kahaa, he prabhu, yadi vah so gayaa hai, to bach jaaegaa.

10परन्तु यदि कोई रात को चले, तो ठोकर खाता है, क्योंकि उस में प्रकाश नहीं।
11उस ने ये बातें कहीं, और इस के बाद उन से कहने लगा, कि हमारा मित्रा लाजर सो गया है, परन्तु मैं उसे जगाने जाता हूं।
12तब चेलों ने उस से कहा, हे प्रभु, यदि वह सो गया है, तो बच जाएगा।
13यीशु ने तो उस की मृत्यु के विषय में कहा था: परन्तु वे समझे कि उस ने नींद से सो जाने के विषय में कहा।
14तब यीशु ने उन से साफ कह दिया, कि लाजर मर गया है।
