King James Version (KJV): Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

24और जाकर पहिले अपने भाई से मेल मिलाप कर; तब आकर अपनी भेंट चढ़ा।
25जब तक तू अपने मु ई के साथ मार्ग में हैं, उस से झटपट मेल मिलाप कर ले कहीं ऐसा न हो कि मु ई तुझे हाकिम को सौंपे, और हाकिम तुझे सिपाही को सौंप दे और तू बन्दीगृह में डाल दिया जाए।
26मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं कि जब तक तू कौड़ी कौड़ी भर न दे तब तक वहां से छूटने न पाएगा।।
27तुम सुन चुके हो कि कहा गया था, कि व्यभिचार न करना।
28परन्तु मैं तुम से यह कहता हूं, कि जो कोई किसी स्त्री पर कुदृष्टि डाले वह अपने मन में उस से व्यभिचार कर चुका।
