ಆದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕೂದಲು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮುಸುಕಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ವಾಗಿದೆ;

13ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ನೀವೇ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವದು ಯುಕ್ತವೋ?
14ಪುರುಷನು ಕೂದಲು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಕರವಾಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಭಾವ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ?
15ಆದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕೂದಲು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮುಸುಕಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ವಾಗಿದೆ;
16ಒಬ್ಬನು ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರೆ ಇಂಥ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
17ನಾನು ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಬರು ವದರಿಂದ ಕೇಡಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಮೇಲಾ ಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
