1 ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ 11
ನಾನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವಂತೆಯೇ ನೀವೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.
Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you.
ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.
ಆದರೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ತಲೆ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ಪುರುಷನು ತಲೆ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Every man praying or prophesying, having [his] head covered, dishonoureth his head.
ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with [her] head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
ಆದರೆ ತಲೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಮುಸುಕಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವದೂ ತಲೆಬೋಳಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿರುವದೂ ಒಂದೇ.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
ಆದರೆ ಪುರುಷನು ದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪವೂ ಪ್ರಭಾವವೂ ಆಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಕೂಡದು; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾದರೋ ಪುರುಷನ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ವಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
ಪುರುಷನು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿತ ನಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪುರುಷನಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾದಳು.
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪುರುಷನು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪುರುಷನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾದಳು.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ದೂತರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಶಿರಸ್ಸಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರಬೇಕು.
For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head because of the angels.
ಆದರೂ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪುರುಷನೂ ಪುರುಷನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪುರುಷನಿಂದ ಹೇಗೆ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿ ಯಾದಳೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪುರುಷನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಯಿಂದ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯಾದನು. ಸಮಸ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ದೇವರೇ ಮೂಲ ಕಾರಣನು.
For as the woman [is] of the man, even so [is] the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ನೀವೇ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವದು ಯುಕ್ತವೋ?
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
ಪುರುಷನು ಕೂದಲು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನ ಕರವಾಗಿದೆಯೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಭಾವ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
ಆದರೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕೂದಲು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಮುಸುಕಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅದು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ವಾಗಿದೆ;
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for [her] hair is given her for a covering.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರೆ ಇಂಥ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
ನಾನು ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಬರು ವದರಿಂದ ಕೇಡಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಮೇಲಾ ಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Now in this that I declare [unto you] I praise [you] not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು ನೀವು ಸಭೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬರುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇದಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತವೆಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇದು ನಿಜವೆಂದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ನಂಬುತ್ತೇನೆ.
For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಂಥಿಂಥ ವರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರೆಂದು ಕಾಣಬರುವಂತೆ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಗಳು ಇರುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವೇ.
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬರುವಾಗ ಮಾಡುವ ಭೋಜನವು ಕರ್ತನ ಭೋಜನವಲ್ಲ.
When ye come together therefore into one place, [this] is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
ಭೋಜನವಾಗುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರಿಗಿಂತ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹಸಿದಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
ಏನು, ನೀವು ಉಣ್ಣುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಾ? ಅಥವಾ ದೇವರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡಿ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀರಾ? ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೇನು ಹೇಳಲಿ? ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಲೋ? ಹೊಗಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise [you] not.
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದೆನು. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ತಾನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the [same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:
ಸ್ತ್ರೋತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು--ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ; ಇದು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮುರಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನನ್ನ ದೇಹ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
And when he had given thanks, he brake [it], and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಊಟವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು--ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀವು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾನಮಾಡುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆನಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me.
ನೀವು ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಈ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾನಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ಸಾರಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮರಣ ವನ್ನು ಆತನು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಈ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾನಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೂ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದವನಾಗಿರುವನು.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಿನ್ನಲಿ, ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯಲಿ.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೇಹವೆಂದು ವಿವೇಚಿಸದೆ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿಯುವವನು ಹಾಗೆ ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿಯುವದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗೊಳ ಗಾಗುವನು.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಮಂದಿ ಬಲಹೀನರೂ ರೋಗಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅನೇಕರು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೊಳಗಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಲೋಕದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ನಮಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಈ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಕಾದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲಿ; ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದದ್ದು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗೊಳಗಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಾರದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
ಒಬ್ಬನು ಹಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲಿ; ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದದ್ದು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿಗೊಳಗಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಾರದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಬಂದಾಗ ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
