1 ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ 12
ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದಿರಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೂಕವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಯೇಸು ವನ್ನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ನಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದರೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾರನು.
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
ವರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳುಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ಆತ್ಮನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ;
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧ ಗಳುಂಟು, ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ;
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
ಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳುಂಟು, ಆದರೆ ಸರ್ವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸರ್ವಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
ಆದರೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವಾಕ್ಯವು, ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅದೇ ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ವಾಕ್ಯವು,
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ರೋಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳು,
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಮಹತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯ ವರವು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ವರವು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ವರವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
ಆದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಆತ್ಮನೇ ತನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತಾನು ಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
ಹೇಗೆ ದೇಹವು ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿವೆಯೋ, ಹೇಗೆ ಆ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲವು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗಿ ರುವದೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.
ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ ಅನ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ ದಾಸರಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆವು; ಆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
ದೇಹವು ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅನೇಕ ಅಂಗಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
For the body is not one member, but many.
ಕಾಲು--ನಾನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರದೆ ಇರುವದೋ?
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
ಕಿವಿ--ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರದೆ ಇರುವದೋ?
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಣ್ಣಾದರೆ ಕೇಳುವದೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳುವದಾದರೆ ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡುವದೆಲ್ಲಿ?
If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆ ಅಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಇಷ್ಟಾನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಿರುವದು?
And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?
ಆದರೆ ಅಂಗಗಳೇನೋ ಅನೇಕ, ದೇಹವು ಒಂದೇ.
But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.
ಕಣ್ಣು ಕೈಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ತಲೆಯು ಕಾಲು ಗಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
ಹೌದು, ಶರೀರದ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಕಂಡರೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯ ವಾಗಿವೆ.
Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲ್ಪ ಮಾನವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳೆಂದು ನಾವು ಎಣಿಸುವ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆಗ ಅಂದವಿಲ್ಲದ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂದವಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
ಅಂದವುಳ್ಳ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅಂಗ ವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಹದವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For our comely [parts] have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that [part] which lacked:
ಹೀಗೆ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೇದವಿರದೆ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವುಗಳಾಗಿ ರುತ್ತವೆ.
That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
ಒಂದು ಅಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೋವಾದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ನೋವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಒಂದು ಅಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
ಈಗ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದೇಹವಾಗಿದ್ದು ವಿಶೇಷ ವಾಗಿ ಅಂಗಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
ದೇವರು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಮೂರನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಉಪದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನಾ
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಉಪದೇಶಕರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರೋ?
[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?
ವಾಸಿ ಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉಂಟೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವರೋ? ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳುವರೋ?ಆದರೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
ಆದರೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
