7ಮೂರನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಶಿಗಳ ತಳಹದಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಏಳನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.
8ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಬಂದು ರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಜನವಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು.
9ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು.
10ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮನೆಯವನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಜರ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ -- ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತರಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಿತ್ತು; ಉಳಿದದ್ದು ಬಹಳವಾಯಿತು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನ ರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಉಳಿದದ್ದು ಈ ರಾಶಿಯಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
11ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
