ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಯಾಗಲಿ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಾದರೂ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹಾಕಿರಬಹುದು ಅಂದರು.

- 15ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದುರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ--ಎಲೀಯನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಎಲೀಷನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗನಮಸ್ಕಾರಮಾಡಿದರು.
- 16ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾದವರಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಯಾಗಲಿ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಾದರೂ ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಹಾಕಿರಬಹುದು ಅಂದರು.
- 17ಅವನುಕಳುಹಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು--ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಅವರು ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೋದರು.
- 18ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಇವ ರಿಗೆ--ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.
