3. 16ಯೋಷೀಯನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಾರಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದನು.
4. 17ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ ಆ ಶಿರೋನಾಮವೇನು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರು ಅವನಿಗೆಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಬೇತೇಲಿನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಅಂದರು.
5. 18ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಯಾವನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
