ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೋಷೀಯನು ಈಡೇ ರಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಯಕ್ಷಿಣಿ ಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಣ್ಣು ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

25ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯ ದಿಂದಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾ ಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದ ಅರಸನ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾವನೂ ಎದ್ದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
26ಆದರೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪ ವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಉದ್ರೇಕಿಸಿದ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾಕೋಪದ ಉರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
