3. 8ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಂದ ಯಾಜಕರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಬರ ಮಾಡಿ ಗೆಬ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ವರೆಗೂ ಯಾಜಕರು ಧೂಪ ಸುಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಎಡಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಹಾಕಿದನು.
4. 9ಆದರೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಯಾಜಕರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು.
5. 10ಯಾವನೂ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಗಳನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮೋಲೆಕನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೆಂಕಿದಾಟಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ತೋಫೆತನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದನು.
