3. 9ಇದು ಸಾಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಇಂಥಿಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು. ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನು? ನೀನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಊರೀಯನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿಸಿದಿ.
4. 10ಈಗ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯ ನಾದ ಊರೀಯನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕತ್ತಿಯು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5. 11ಕರ್ತನು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗುವನು.
