ಅವರು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಹೊಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅದರ ಬೇರು ಕೊಳೆಯುವಂತೆಯೂ ಚಿಗುರು ಅವರ ಧೂಳಿನಂತೆಯೂ ತೂರಿಹೋಗುವವು.

- 25ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋ ಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸಿದವು. ಅವರ ಹೆಣಗಳು ಹರಿದು ಬೀದಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿ ರುವವು. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದರೂ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೈಚಾಚಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.
- 26ಆತನು ದೂರದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಗಾಗಿ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂಚಿನಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಳ್ಳುಹಾಕುವನು. ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಬರುವರು;
