ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಂಟು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಐನೇಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

31ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೂದಾಯ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮಾ ರ್ಯ ಸೀಮೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಭೆಗಳು ಭಕ್ತಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದವು; ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಆದರಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದವು.
32ಇದಾದಮೇಲೆ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಸಂಚಾರಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಲುದ್ದದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದನು.
33ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವ ವಾಯು ರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಂಟು ವರುಷಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದ ಐನೇಯನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.
34ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಐನೇಯನೇ, ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ವಾಸಿಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಎದ್ದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ಎದ್ದನು.
35ಲುದ್ದ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾರೋನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದವ ರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡರು.
