14ನಾವು ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ಬರ್ನೆಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಜೆರೆದ್‌ ಹಳ್ಳ ವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ವರೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಕಾಲವು ಮೂವ ತ್ತೆಂಟು ವರುಷ; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರ ಸಂತತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ತಡವಾಯಿತು.
15ಅವರು ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.
16ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಸೈನಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ನಂತರ
17ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಇಂದು ನೀನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಆರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು;
18ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆದುರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಬಂದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪದ್ರ ಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡ ಬೇಡ;
