1. 16ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಗೆಯ ವರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2. 17ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸ ಇದು ಆಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
3. 18ಆದರೆ ಶೂಷನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅದರ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅದರ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು;
4. 19ಆದಕಾರಣ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೈಲು ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿ ರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸುದಿನವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
