ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹುಳಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಾವ ಮೇರೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಣಬಾರದು.

- 6ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನಾಚ ರಿಸಬೇಕು.
- 7ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹುಳಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಯಾವ ಮೇರೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಣಬಾರದು.
- 8ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇದು ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
- 9ಕರ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅದು (ಆಚರಣೆಯು) ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರ ಬೇಕು. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
