ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅದು ಹುಳಬಿದ್ದು ನಾತ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
Aadaagyoo avaru mosheya maatannu kelalilla. Kelavaru adannu belagina varege ittukondaaga adu hulabiddu naata huttitu. Aaga mosheyu avara mele kopisi kondanu.

- 20ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಅದು ಹುಳಬಿದ್ದು ನಾತ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು.
- 21ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತಿನ್ನು ವಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನದ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಬಿಸಿಲು ಬಹಳವಾದಾಗ ಅದು ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
- 22ಆರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಓಮೆರದಂತೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಭೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬಂದು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
