2. 20ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡು ಕತ್ತೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಹತ್ತಿಸಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ದೇವರ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.
3. 21ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗು ವಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೂಚಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಾಡು. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಪಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
4. 22ಆಗ ನೀನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
5. 23(ಫರೋಹನೇ) ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡು ವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ನೀನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
