ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದ ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ
Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಈ ದಿನದ, ಇದೇ ದಿನದ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬರೆದುಕೋ; ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Son of man, write thee the name of the day, [even] of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮನೆತನ ದವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ, ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ-- ಹಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಒಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಡು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸುರಿ.
And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it:
ತೊಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೆಗಲನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಎಲುಬುಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ;
Gather the pieces thereof into it, [even] every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill [it] with the choice bones.
ಹಿಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ದ್ದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಎಲುಬಿನ ರಾಶಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕುದಿಸು; ಆ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೇಯಲಿ.
Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, [and] make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.
ಆದಕಾರಣ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ರಕ್ತಮಯವಾದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಯಾವದರ ಕಲ್ಮಶವು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವದೋ ಆ ಹಂಡೆಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಅದರಿಂದ ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೆಗೆ; ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ಚೀಟಿಯು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳದಿರಲಿ.
Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum [is] therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವು ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದೆ; ಅದು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಂಡೆಯ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ದೂಳು ಮುಚ್ಚುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲ;
For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ರೋಷ ವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಡದಂತೆ ಬಂಡೆಯ ತುದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ;
That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಆ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧವುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾ ಗಲಿ, ನಾನೇ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ರಾಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
ಬಹಳ ಸೌದೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಮಾಂಸ ವನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸು; ಮಸಾಲೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇರಲಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಸುಡಲಿ.
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೈಲಿಗೆ ಕರಗಿ ಕಲ್ಮಶವು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೆಂಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡು.
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and [that] the filthiness of it may be molten in it, [that] the scum of it may be consumed.
ಅದರ ಕಲ್ಮಶವು ಆಯಾಸವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿತೇ ಹೊರತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಬಹಳವಾದ ಕಿಲುಬು ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಲಿ;
She hath wearied [herself] with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum [shall be] in the fire.
ನಿನ್ನ ಅಶುದ್ಧ ತ್ವವು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗದ ಕಾರಣ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪವಿತ್ರತ್ವದಿಂದ ಇನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
In thy filthiness [is] lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅದು ನಡೆಯುವದು; ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕಟಾಕ್ಷ ತೋರಿಸು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನಿನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
I the LORD have spoken [it:] it shall come to pass, and I will do [it;] I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ಒಂದೇ ಏಟಿನಿಂದ ನೇತ್ರಾನಂದವಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ದುಃಖಪಡಬೇಡ, ಅಳಬೇಡ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಹರಿದು ಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.
Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
ವ್ಯಸನದಿಂದ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅರಚಬೇಡ, ಗೋಳಾಡ ಬೇಡ ನೀನು ರುಮಾಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಜೋಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೋ; ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಡ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡ.
Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆನು; ಸಂಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸತ್ತಳು; ಆಗ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
ಆಗ ಜನರು--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇ ನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದರು.
And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these [things are] to us, that thou doest [so]?
ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದೆನು; ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮನೆ ತನದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೇತ್ರಾನಂದಕರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅಭಿಲಾಷಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸುವೆನು; ನೀವು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು.
Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬಾರದು ಅವರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.
And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover [your] lips, nor eat the bread of men.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ರುಮಾಲುಗಳು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೋಡು ಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು; ನೀವು ಗೋಳಾಡದೆ ಅಳದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಗಡಲೊಬ್ಬರು ನರುಳುವಿರಿ.
And your tires [shall be] upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಮುಂಗುರುತಾ ರುವನು; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವೂ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ; ಆ ರೀತಿ ಆದಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವಿರಿ.
Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಅವರ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನೂ ನೇತ್ರಾನಂದಕರವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಆಶಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನಾನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವ
Also, thou son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ತರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವನಲ್ಲವೆ?ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದಿರುವದು ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೂಕನಾಗಿರದೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಂಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವಿ, ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವರು.
[That] he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause [thee] to hear [it] with [thine] ears?
ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದಿರುವದು ನೀನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೂಕನಾಗಿರದೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಂಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವಿ, ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವರು.
In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
