ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಜಾವದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆನು; ಸಂಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಸತ್ತಳು; ಆಗ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Haageye naanu belagina jaavadalli jana rondige maatanaadidenu; sanje nanna hendati sattalu; aaga munjaane appaneyaada prakaarave naanu maadidenu.

- 19ಆಗ ಜನರು--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೇ ನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ ಎಂದರು.
