ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ --

- 18ತಹಪನೇಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನೊಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯುವಾಗ ಹಗಲು ಕತ್ತಲಾಗುವದು. ಅದರ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಮದವು ಅಡಗಿ ಹೋಗುವದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಮೇಘವು ಮುಚ್ಚುವದು. ಅದರ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಯರು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.
- 19ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು, ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವದು.
- 20ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಏಳನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ --
- 21ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ತೋಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಅದು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ವಾಸಿಯಾಗುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
- 22ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಬಲವುಳ್ಳದ್ದೂ ಮುರಿದದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಅವನ ತೋಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿ ಯುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
