- 18ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಹಸ್ತವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಹ್ಲೀಯ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಯುಳ್ಳವನಾದ ಶೇರೇಬ್ಯನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಆದ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನೂ

- 20ದಾವೀ ದನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ನೆತಿನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ನೆತಿನಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
- 21ಆಗ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೂ ಆತನಿಂದ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗ ವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹವಾ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪವಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾರಿದೆನು.
