16ಆದರೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ಸಂತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವರು; ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
17ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮುಳುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕತ್ತಲಾದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಗೆಹಾಯುವ ಒಲೆಯೂ ಉರಿಯುವ ದೀಪವೂ ತುಂಡುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋದವು.
18ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು--ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಮಹಾನದಿಯಾದ ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್‌ ನದಿಯ ವರೆಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವ
