2. 6ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ-- ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲೇ ಬಾರದು.
3. 7ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂಧು ಗಳ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವನು.
4. 8ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಕನ್ಯೆಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿ. ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು.
5. 9ಆಗ ಆ ಸೇವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನ ನಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಆ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
