2. 2ಆಗ ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲು ಅಗೋ, ಮೂವರು ಪುರುಷರು ಅವನ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಬಂದು ನೆಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ--
3. 3ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆದೊರೆತಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಬೇಡ.
4. 4ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
