- 6ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭುವಾಗಿದ್ದೀ; ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡು. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾರನು.
- 7ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಎದ್ದು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಆ ದೇಶದ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಾಗಿ
- 8ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೂಣಿಡುವದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿಬಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ ಚೋಹರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
- 9ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹೊಲದ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಪೇಲ ಗವಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ; ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
