ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ--ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರ್ರಿ. ನಾನೂ ಹುಡುಗನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದನು.
Abrahaamanu tanna yuvakarige--katteya sangada illiye irri. Naanoo huduganoo allige hogi aaraadhane maadi nimma balige hintirugi barutteve andanu.

- 4ಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ದೂರದಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದನು.
- 5ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ--ಕತ್ತೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರ್ರಿ. ನಾನೂ ಹುಡುಗನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದನು.
- 6ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
- 7ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೂ ಇವೆ, ಆದರೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
