ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿ ಗೆರಾರಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.

15ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅಗಿದ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು.
16ಆಗ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಟನಾದಿ ಆದುದ ರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೋಗು, ಅಂದನು.
17ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿ ಗೆರಾರಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಡಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು.
18ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಿದಂಥ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಗಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
19ಇಸಾಕನ ಸೇವಕರು ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಉಕ್ಕುವ ಒರತೆಯ ಬಾವಿಯು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು.
