ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಅಬ್ರಹಾ ಮನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಿದಂಥ ಬಾವಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅಗಿದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದರು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹೆಸರುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

Idallade isaakanu tanna tandeyaada abrahaa mana dinagalalli agidantha baavigalannu tirigi agidanu. Yaakandare abrahaamanu satta mele philishtiyaru avugalannu muchchiddaru. Avugalige tanna tandeyu kotta hesarugala prakaarave avanu avugalige hesaru kottanu.

  5. 20ಗೆರಾರಿನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರು --ಈ ನೀರು ನಮ್ಮದು ಎಂದು ಇಸಾಕನ ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ಆ ಬಾವಿಗೆ ಏಸೆಕ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
