ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾಹೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಲಾಬಾನ ನನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವರು-- ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು ಅಂದರು.
Adakka vanu avarige--naahorana maganaada laabaana nannu neevu balliro andaaga avaru-- naavu avanannu ballevu andaru.

- 5ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾಹೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಲಾಬಾನ ನನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲಿರೋ ಅಂದಾಗ ಅವರು-- ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು ಅಂದರು.
- 6ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಅವನು ಕ್ಷೇಮವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ದಾಗ ಅವರು--ಕ್ಷೇಮವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇಗೋ, ಅವನ ಮಗಳಾದ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ಕುರಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಅಂದರು.
- 7ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತು ಬಹಳವಿದೆ; ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಸಮಯವು ಇದಲ್ಲ; ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಮೇಯಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
