ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೊತ್ತು ಬಹಳವಿದೆ; ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಸಮಯವು ಇದಲ್ಲ; ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಸಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಮೇಯಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
Avanu avarige--igo, innoo hottu bahalavide; mandegalannu koodisuva samayavu idalla; kurigalige neeru kudisi hogi meyisiri andanu.

- 8ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು--ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾವಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆಗ ನಾವು ಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.
- 9ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಯಿಸುವವಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ರಾಹೇ ಲಳು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದಳು.
