ಆದರೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತಾನು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯನಾದ ಲಾಬಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಕಳ್ಳತನದಿಂದ ಹೋದನು.

Aadare yaakobanu taanu odi hoguvadannu araamyanaada laabaananige tilisade kallatanadinda hodanu.

18ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಾನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
19ಆಗ ಲಾಬಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವದಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ರಾಹೇಲಳು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಳು.
20ಆದರೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತಾನು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯನಾದ ಲಾಬಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಕಳ್ಳತನದಿಂದ ಹೋದನು.
21ಅವನು ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಿಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಎದ್ದು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್‌ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿಮುಖನಾಗಿ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದನು.
22ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಓಡಿಹೋದನೆಂದು ಮೂರ ನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಬಾನನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
