ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಎತ್ತರ ವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.

Idallade neeru bhoomiya mele atyadhikavaagi prabalavaadaddarinda aakaashada kelagiruva ettara vaada ellaa bettagalu muchchalpattavu.

King James Version (KJV): And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that [were] under the whole heaven, were covered.

17ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಳಯವು ಇತ್ತು; ಆಗ ನೀರುಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ನಾವೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಲು ಅದು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
18ನೀರು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದಾಗ ಆ ನಾವೆಯು ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
19ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಎತ್ತರ ವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
20ನೀರುಗಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ಮೊಳದ ವರೆಗೆ ಏರಿತು.
21ಆಗ ಪಶು ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಮೃಗ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಮಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಅಂತೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶರೀರಗಳು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದವು.
